I’m doing the last mow of the season and wanted to review my trusty lawn mower. This is my second Worx mower, the first one I had for years. It used an older model battery and was discontinued when I needed a new mower. I bought this mower in 2021 and it’s still going strong. mowing season is April-September. We have woods behind the house, so to prevent tics, we mow weekly. So 4 seasons I’ve been using this beast.

This page might be a mismash of all of my favorite things, like birdwatching, feeds from my bird feeder camera, gaining trust from my chipmunk friends, cozy home decor ideas, my garden ideas. The weather here has been very crisp and I fear that the hot days of summer are over. If you ask me, I’m ok with that. I love the cooler days, the sounds of football, the new start the September brings. Cozy warm PJ’s, sitting in my kitchen with a warm cup of coffee is a nice relaxing way to start the day. Having a central area for all things coffee makes my mornings easier.
Did you know that the beautiful vibrant red cardinal is a male? I see them at my feeder in the very early mornings and later in the evening when there is less activity from other birds. The lady Cardinal is a lighter almost brownish color. Although I see them together I do not see them very close to each other.
Fun Facts:
Cardinals do not get their red-orange beak until fully grown
Males are territorially-marking out their territory with a song
During courtship males feed seeds to female beak to beak
